Accommodation Sedlec-Prčice - Pension Mlyn (Mitrovice)
Guesthouse Staré Mitrovice Mill is located in the region of the Czech Merán and the Czech Siberia that is sought after by tourists and offers a wide spectrum of opportunities both in the summer and in the winter.
For the time being, the guesthouse itself offers 10 cosy and spacious rooms with the own bathroom, plasma TV set and satellite TV. The total capacity is 22 people - 8 double and 2 triple rooms.
It was built by sensitive reconstruction from the original mill with a saw mill dating back before the beginning of the 16th century. It is located in the village of Mitrovice on the dam of the Castle Pond. There used to be a historical fortress adjacent to the mill (about 60 m opposite the main entrance to the guesthouse) with a water trench. The famous builder and architect of the South-Bohemian ponds and waterworks Jakub Krčín of Jelčany is said to have died at the place. Opposite the fortress, at the place of the present farm there used to be a brewery for a long time which was reconstructed in the 19th century into a more profitable starch factory.
